Q: What is ArticlesVine?
A: Articlesvine is an article directory that lets you submit your articles for free, as long as you are the author of those articles or own the copyright of those articles. Articlesvine allows you to submit an article, which will be reviewed by the visitors and will be promoted, based on popularity, to the main page.
Apart from submitting articles, Articlesvine also have "Social Networking" features, which will allow you create your own social networks with other authors. You would also be able to know how much votes your articles received and who voted for your articles. From the user dashboard, you would be able to send friend requests and have access to many other web 2.0 features.
Q: How many Votes does it take to promote an article to the home page?
A: 10 Votes are required before an article is sent to the front page i.e. Published Articles. If 10 Votes are not received within the 30 days period of submitting, articles will not be eligible to move from upcoming articles to published articles.
Q: How can you Promote Upcoming Articles to Published Articles?
A: To promote articles from upcoming to published articles section, you need minimum 10 Votes for your articles. Email articles to your friend, vote articles, bookmark articles, write comments, promote on facebook, twitter, myspace and other social media channels, provide a back link to your articles to promote your articles in the published articles secion.
Q: May I publish articles I find on ArticlesVine on my website?
A: You may add articles to your website as long as you comply with our Terms of Use. Our TOS basically states that you must keep full author credit with all its respective links, a link to ArticlesVine.com, must keep the article intact (no editing) and keep all links active.
Q: Does it cost money to submit articles to ArticlesVine?
A: No, we do not charge for article publication or pay for submitted content.
Q: How can I contact the author of an article?
A: When you are on the article page, click author username below the article title and Add the Author as your friend and you will be able to build a network with the author.
Q: What are Groups?
A: Groups allow you to share articles with other authors who share a common interest in a topic. You can Create or Join a group to submit topical articles that other members would be interested in. Some groups may require membership approval before you become part of the group.
Q: Does ArticlesVine have a link exchange program?
A: At the present time, we don’t have a link exchange program, however you are welcome to subscribe and publish articles on your subject of choice, and include a link to your website in the Author's Bio and Profile section.

A: Log in to your account with your e-mail address and password, go to My Profile -> Modify and edit your Author Bio.
Q: How do I upload an avatar to my account?
A: When you are logged in, go to My Profile -> Modify and upload your Avatar.
Submitting Articles
Q: Will I receive payment for my submitted articles?
A: No, at ArticlesVine.com we provide a free resource for both publishers and readers.
Q: How long does it take to have my articles reviewed?
A: Our team guarantees reviews in up to 96 hours, but in most cases we review articles within 48 hours. However, your articles will be promoted on the home page depending on user votes. Mostly voted articles will stay on top.
Q: How can I find where my article has been republished?
A: We recommend using Google and Yahoo to search for copies of your articles. You should conduct a search in the follow format:

Q: I Googled my name, but when I clicked on the results I was redirected to another author’s article. Why is that?
A: On each article page, ArticlesVine publishes links related to that article. Google must have found your name in the Related Articles section of the article.
Q: How do I place links in my articles?
A: Use the HTML editor while submitting articles to place links.
Q: How do I add a picture to my article?
A: In the Rich Text Editor, click on the place where you’d like to add the picture and click on the green picture button (called “Insert/Edit Image”) at the top of the editor. On the window that opens, enter the URL of the image.
Q: How do I add a video to my article?
A: In the Rich Text Editor, click on the place where you’d like to add the video and click on the green picture button (called "Insert/Edit Embedded Media") at the top of the editor. On the window that opens, enter the URL of the video.
Q: Can my article be submitted to more than one category?
A: No, it cannot. Please submit each article only once. Multiple submissions of the same article will result in its removal.
Q: Why was my article rejected?
A: Chances are your article was rejected because it violated one of our submission guidelines. If you think your article has been unfairly rejected, feel free to contact us and we will take another look.
Q: What are hard line breaks?
A: Hard line breaks basically mean that you have clicked “Enter” in the middle of a paragraph instead of letting the text wrap freely.
Republishing Articles
Q: What are hard line breaks?
A: Copy the article along with the hyper links or Use our RSS Feeds and have an updated feed of articles in the topics of your choice.
Q: May I publish articles in my local newspaper?
A: We allow free reprints of articles from our website in conjunction with our Terms of Use. If you wish to publish content from our website in an offline media, we require you contact the author directly for permission.
